John Digweed returns to the capital on Saturday 4th October to celebrate the 16th Anniversary of his iconic imprint Bedrock. Electric Brixton will open its doors to Bedrock for the first time to host the celebrations, with some very special guests set to join John on the night.

After outstanding events earlier this year at Fire & Lightbox and Village Underground, this is set to be yet another Bedrock roadblock. With Electric Brixton’s spacious and authentic layout, the venue promises to provide the perfect atmosphere for Bedrock’s performers and devotees alike. John Digweed will inaugurate the new location with a musical expedition through his signature sounds and beyond. The 16th Anniversary will also see Bedrock invite a selection of artists who have established themselves amongst the underground’s finest.

Josh Wink, the man behind Ovum Recordings has been a treasured member of the worldwide house and techno scene since the early 90’s. Keeping relevant hasn’t been a problem for this pioneer as evident in his most recent bookings; appearing as special guest at Space Ibiza at Loco Dice’s birthday and on the Last Day on Earth stage at South West Four. With 2014 representing the 20th Anniversary of his seminal label, Josh has further maintained his spot in the industry by bringing the very best in house and techno to generations past and present.

Pig & Dan have been continuously playing at some of the best events around the world and are set to take things to the next level at Bedrock16. The pair’s label ‘Elevate’ perfectly describes this duo who are adamant to push the boundaries with their sound and elevate the experience for those at their shows. Their new album ‘Destination Unknown’ has received rave reviews from the likes of Resident Advisor and demonstrates their wide ranging sound. Their high energy DJ sets have brought an unstoppable momentum to the innovative duo’s prospering career which we cannot wait to showcase at Bedrock16.

Berlin resident Spencer Parker will be bringing his unique style of house and techno to Bedrock for the very time. You can often catch him playing at the world famous Panorama Bar when he’s not touring the world. His recent Boiler Room set in his hometown had fans dancing from start to finish. With an ever-growing catalogue on labels such as Tsuba, Ovum and Crosstown Rebels, Spencer’s productions continue to be a stable in record bags everywhere.
